See, Sense, Shield: Electronic Warfare Software with a Defense PSU

Designed and delivered a secure radar & RF fusion platform for a Defence PSU, enabling earlier drone detection, spectrum awareness, and regulator-ready compliance.

The Challenge

Critical industries now operate under a persistent air and spectrum threat landscape where low-altitude drones, illicit transmitters, and spoofed signals can interrupt operations, compromise safety, and erode regulatory confidence.

Airports, refineries, power plants, ports, rail yards, and high-density campuses rely on clean spectrum and reliable situational awareness, yet they often face fragmented sensors, delayed detection, high false alarms, and limited auditability.

The problem is no longer only physical perimeter control; it is the fusion of radar returns, radio frequency emissions, and intent indicators into one picture that enables lawful, proportionate, and well-documented response.

Our Mandate

In partnership with DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Govt of India, we were tasked to:

  • Ingest feeds from primary & secondary radars and passive RF sensors
  • Correlate data in real time to classify threats
  • Guide authorized responders through compliant countermeasures
  • Preserve end-to-end audit trails
  • Operate in on-premise or private cloud environments with strict role-based access

(Unit names, sites, parameters, and waveforms are confidential.)

Our Solution

We delivered a secure software platform that:

  • Fuses radar tracks, time-difference-of-arrival bearings, and signal characteristics into a single operating picture
  • Recognizes control links & telemetry patterns, flags GNSS spoofing & meaconing
  • Enriches tracks with electro-optical cues when cameras are integrated
  • Enables one-click case creation with geo-tagged field observations
  • Supports configurable ECM playbooks for lawful countermeasures

Key Features

  • Time-stamped decisions & full chain-of-custody logs
  • Automated reports for internal review or regulator submission
  • Offline-tolerant, with automatic synchronization when online
  • Security-first: encryption, SSO, least-privilege roles, compartmentalized data domains
  • Built-in simulator for training with synthetic radar & RF scenarios

Outcomes

  • Continuous awareness and earlier drone detection
  • Reduced false positives by correlating radar & RF evidence
  • Clear chain-of-custody for incident resolution
  • Defensible risk and response visibility for leadership
  • Regulator-ready summaries without exposing sensitive details

Broader Impact

  • Airports → Strengthen runway & approach path awareness, coordinate with agencies
  • Energy → Monitor low-altitude corridors, document interference threats
  • Ports → Protect vessel traffic services & yard operations
  • Rail Yards → Maintain reliable communications
  • Corporate Campuses → Safeguard production lines & critical wireless sensors
